Founded with Vision

Made Ariani Siswanto, Bsc, Msc(IM), Msc(REI) remained deeply committed to realizing her late father’s long-held dream to create a training center for less privileged youth and school dropouts. In 2016, Ariani turned that vision into reality by founding Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS). Her goal was to create an accessible, industry-focused culinary program that nurtures aspiring chefs and pastry professionals.

Recognizing the evolving needs of the industry, BCPS remains committed to excellence by continuously adapting its curriculum to stay relevant and meet industry demands. The school has relaunched its flagship 12-month Professional Chef program.

With strong partnerships across prestigious hotels and industry leaders in Indonesia, the founder’s vision has inspired a landmark collaboration with The Apurva Kempinski Bali, a renowned 5-star hotel in Bali. Together, they launched “The Apurva Chef” program, with a purpose to equip students with the skills, and global mindset needed to thrive in the international culinary and hospitality industry.

During global challenges, BCPS ensured that students continued to receive a comprehensive and hands-on education, both inside the classroom and within top-tier establishments. Recognizing the growing demand for chef-entrepreneurs, BCPS began integrating entrepreneurship into its core curriculum, equipping students not only with world-class culinary skills but also with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to launch and sustain their own ventures.

Growing Impact & Recognition

BCPS marked a milestone in international partnership by sending its first 8 students to France for internships at Barrière Hotels in La Baule and Deauville. This initiative expanded the school’s global network, leading to a prestigious new collaboration by year-end with the legendary 2-Michelin-star restaurant, La Maison Paul Bocuse in Lyon.

The international network has grown rapidly, from a single hotel group in France to 18 prestigious establishments across France, Italy, and Hong Kong. This includes 8 Michelin-starred restaurants and Relais & Châteaux properties, providing students with exceptional global exposure and transformative career opportunities.
